Residents of Woodlands Park organised The Big Lunch in Phipps Close, Woodlands Park last Sunday and although the British weather was against them, everyone still enjoyed themselves during this family fun day. Their were games, face painting, hair braiding, live music, arts and crafts and even a chance to throw wet sponges at your mate in the stocks!
Around 30 residents came and joined us throughout the afternoon, some braved the weather and brought a picnic, others just stayed for the games. However, the day was still a success and enabled the community to raise £60 Woodlands Park Primary School's PTA through gifts donated by children of the school and local residents into a raffle!
Thanks to all who were involved and made the day a success!
