Residents of Greenfields and Alpine Close organised The Big Picnic last Saturday and it was a great success! The sun was shining and over 60 residents came to join us throughout the day bringing their picnics and getting involved with the games. We had live music, face painting, hair braiding, tug of war and more. Local agencies were avaliable to talk about their services in the local area as well as offering arts and crafts for the younger children to do.
Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves and those who helped to organise the event felt their hard work had paid off and resulted in a fantastic family fun day.
