Local Service Standards Forum - 2010 Campaign for Decent Communals

We want your views on how we can transform communal halls, stairways, walkways and outside areas, increase choices in planned works and green initiatives. We want your views on what works should be done. We also want your views on plans for a new grounds maintenance service.
The new modernisation programme - called the Decent Communals Standard - will be rolled out next year. We will be kicking off in January with two Local Service Standards Forums looking at communal areas and grounds and repairs. One will be held in the daytime and another in the evening.
These Service Forums will cover:
The modernisation of communal halls, stairwells and walkways;
The refurbishment of communal grounds and plans for a new grounds maintenance service;
Improvements to the repairs services and energy efficiency;
Review of the new caretaking standards
