Dream Scheme - Community Activities
DON’T BE BORED in the summer holidays, take part in our Dream Scheme activities to make your neighbourhood a nicer place and earn a free day of watersports at Longridge Activity Centre.
Join in with three activities on 3rd, 10th, 11th, 19th August to earn your free day out, or join in to have some fun and learn about Safety in your neighbourhood.
Young People are invited to come to:
ST JOHN’S AMBULANCE AWARENESS SESSION
This will provide a basic introduction to first aid. The awareness session gives young people a grounding in managing an incident and the most commonly needed first aid skills.
Various activities which young people can take part in, helping each other in an emergency or if they have hurt themselves.
For Example; Learning how to bandage a cut or resuscitate someone unconscious (Resusci Anne)
The Awareness Session lasts 2 hours.
