I have lived in Maidenhead for 12 years, and moved to Maidenhead & District Housing Association 8 years ago. I joined the resident’s associate in 2002.
Having lived on other Housing Associations, and also sitting on the committees, I joined MDHA RA to Make a Difference to the area I live in and build the community. We do things like have a say in all policies that come up for review, help choose kitchen units and also get involved with other housing associations. We have our own budget from which we can do training - so it’s not all listening to complaints!
I also sit on the Housing Solutions Board as a tenant representative too, where we meet every other month.
