TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE NEIGHBOURS AND NEIGHBOURHOOD REWARD POINTS SCHEME

The Neighbours and Neighbourhood Reward Points Scheme is operated by Housing Solutions Limited ("We").  We are registered in England and Wales (an Industrial Provident Society Company, registered number IP27876R) and our registered office is at Crown House, 1 Crown Square, Waldeck, 1 Reform Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire SL6 8BY.

These rules govern the collection and use of the reward points.

A resident can register for the reward points scheme by setting up an account on the Neighbours and Neighbourhoods website.  Residents can then earn points by attending qualifying events listed on the website.

Points may be earned by any resident, or household member living in a Housing Solutions property.  Separate reward accounts can be set-up for each individual household member. (See registration page for more details).  Once an account has been set up the resident  can check their reward points balance at any time by going to the members’ page on the site.

If a resident does not have access to the internet the Community Liaison team can set the account up on their behalf and post them a quarterly update of their points. Contact the Community Liaison team on 01628 543124 for more information.

Points will be awarded when a resident attends an event which they have registered their interest in.  Points cannot be redeemed until credited to the resident’s reward account.  If a resident does not attend an event, they will not receive any points. Residents are responsible for making the event facilitator aware of their attendance. Points will be awarded within five working days of an event taking place.

Points have no expiry date but are lost if the resident is no longer a Housing Solutions resident or the Housing Solutions reward scheme is closed. We may suspend or terminate the reward scheme but will give as much notice as we reasonably can before we do so. If this happens all reward accounts will be suspended or terminated.

Except for special bonus points which we will publicise the following points will be awarded for resident involvement:

We may alter the method and rate at which points are awarded at our discretion.

We want to make sure that everyone’s voice is heard. Where we are trying to encourage attendance for an event we will advertise bonus or double points or triple points.  The points allowance for these events will differ from that publicised above. Details of the points allocation will be provided on the website.

Residents may redeem the points as part or full payment for rewards from participating providers. Details of participating providers and rewards can be found on the benefits page. Housing Solutions reserves the right to amend the participating providers and rewards at any time.

Where reward points are redeemed for vouchers, the vouchers are subject to the rules of the participating provider. Each voucher represents the value shown on its face. If the goods and/or services exceed the value of the voucher the balance must be paid by the resident to the provider on purchase. If the price of the goods and/or services are less than the voucher value no change will be given unless the provider states otherwise. Each voucher is not valid beyond the expiry date shown on its face. Reward points cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer unless specified. Residents may not redeem points or vouchers for cash.

Vouchers are to be handed to the reward provider at the time of purchase and if all conditions are met you will be entitled to the specified reward.  The voucher is only valid for the reward specified on the voucher.

Points will not be refunded for vouchers not used by their expiry date.  Vouchers are non-refundable. Damaged, defaced or photocopied vouchers will not be accepted by providers.  Vouchers should be treated like cash. We cannot be responsible for any lost or stolen vouchers.

Neither Housing Solutions nor the reward voucher providers are responsible for vouchers lost in the post. Vouchers can be collected from the Housing Solutions Office during office opening times or sent recorded (signed for) delivery. To cover the cost of postage 20 points will be deducted from the residents points balance.  Residents will be asked to confirm their delivery/collection method when redeeming points.

All rewards are subject to availability. We have no responsibility for the quality of any goods or services supplied by the participating providers, or the failure of a provider to honour a redemption or make a specific reward available. All rewards are subject to the conditions (including booking requirement, cancellation restrictions, return conditions, warranties and limitations of liability) of the provider. When points are redeemed we may act as an intermediary between the resident and the provider and we will do what we can to ensure such rewards are supplied by the provider. However, all complaints concerning such goods or services must be addressed to the relevant provider. If a provider becomes liable to make a refund to the resident  the provider cannot credit the refund to your reward account. Refunds are between residents and the provider.

If residents believe at any time that points have been incorrectly redeemed from their reward account they must let us know as soon as possible but in any case within 28 days of the disputed transaction by contacting Community.Liaison@housingsolutions.co.ukWe will make all reasonable endeavours to resolve thequery as soon as possible.

If a resident moves house, please contact us so we can make sure that we transfer the points balance. Residents should email Community.Liaison@housingsolutions.co.ukwith their new details.

We may, on notifying the registered resident immediately suspend or terminate the Neighbours and Neighbourhoods rights of a resident or close their neighbours and neighbourhoods reward account if: they breach the following rules,

If a Neighbours and Neighbourhoods reward account is closed the resident’s rights to redeem points from that account are lost.

Residents have the right to close their Neighbours and Neighbourhoods reward account at any time.  To do so please contact Community.Liaison@housingsolutions.co.uk

We may make changes to these rules and will give the registered residents as much notice as we reasonably can. Registering for a Neighbours and Neighbourhood reward account will constitute acceptance of these rules.

If a resident has a complaint concerning their reward account please contact Community.Liaison@housingsolutions.co.uk. All complaints will be dealt with via the Housing Solutions complaints policy as set out on the website (Complaints policy)
